In Yharnam, a city ruled over by the "Healing Church", an organization that administers blood transfusions to cure diseases within their patients, a dark secret is revealed. As the church grew, people flocked from all over the lands trading absolutely anything, including their children to gain access to the blood-fusions. The secrets behind the church's miracle cure would begin to show as former patients would turn into hideous beasts, causing them to employ Hunters to eliminate these beasts under the cover of the night. Waking up after receiving one of these transfusions, you are tasked with eliminating the beasts of the night. As you explore all of Yharnam, the truths of the "Healing Church" will be revealed. For tonight, though, the Hunt begins...
